2. Use the Windows Registry

We don’t recommend that you tamper with the Windows Registry, but you have to get in here if you prefer not to use DriverFix.

1. Press the Windows key + R.
2. Run the following command dxdiag.
3. Navigate to the Display tab.
4. In the Drivers area, take note of the Version.
5. Open the Run dialog box and enter regedit.
6. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAMDCN
7. Open DriverVersion and change the value to the number you got in Step 4 above.
8. Click on the OK button.
9. Restart your computer.

Note: In Step 3, you may have two Display tabs if you have two graphics cards. Go to the one named AMD Radeon from the manufacturer, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

2. Update your AMD Radeon application

1. Uninstall the AMD Radeon Settings application

1. Open the Run dialog box with the Windows key + R combination.
2. Type appwiz.cpl and click on the OK button.
3. Find AMD Software from the list and right-click on it.
4. Hit the Uninstall option from the context menu.

6. Restart your computer on completion of the uninstall.

2. Install the AMD Radeon Lite application

1. Open the Windows Store.
