Windows 10 June Patch Tuesday [DIRECT DOWNLOAD LINKS]


  • This month's Patch Tuesday Updates arrived on the 9th of June.
  • They improve Windows 10 from both a feature and a security point of view.
  • They are also the first set of Patch Tuesday updates that bring cumulative updates to Windows 10 v 2004.

The 6th round of major feature updates have just hit live, and they are called the June Patch Tuesday Updates.

As always, Microsoft managed to deliver these updates, bringing new security features, fixing old bugs, and improving their level of security.

This round of Patch Tuesday updates is also special in the sense that they are the first to contain updates for the new Windows 10 v2004, which has just been launched on 27 May 2020.

We’ve compiled a list of some of the new features that each cumulative update brings, along with any known issues, and a direct download link.

Cumulative updates included in June Patch Tuesday Updates

Windows 10, version 2004

This is the latest major feature version of Windows 10 available. This means that it has all the newest features and the highest level of security among all versions of Windows 10.

That being the case, make sure that you try installing it as soon as it becomes available, and if your hardware allows it.

Windows 10, version 1909

Windows 10 version 1909 and versions 1903  share a common core operating system and an identical set of system files. As a result, all major changes that apply to one version will be present in the other.

  • After installing this update on a Windows 10 device with a wireless wide area network (WWAN) LTE modem, reaching the internet might not be possible. However, the Network Connectivity Status Indicator (NCSI) in the notification area might still indicate that you are connected to the internet.

Windows 10, version 1903

Windows 10 version 1909 and versions 1903  share a common core operating system and an identical set of system files. As a result, all major changes that apply to one version will be present in the other.

Windows 10, version 1809

According to Microsoft, the last security update for most editions of Windows 10, version 1809 will be released on November 10. The include the Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations, and IoT Core editions.

    Addresses an issue that causes the promotion of a server to a domain controller to fail. This occurs when the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) process is set as Protected Process Light (PPL).

Windows 10, version 1803

For those of you keen on having the best that’s security has to offer, remember that Windows 10, version 1803 (the April 2018 Update) Home and Pro editions have reached the end of service.

As such, if you currently own any of these two editions, try to update as soon as possible.

Like all the previous versions of Windows 10, 1709 has also been updated, bumping the build number to OS Build 16299.1932.

However, remember that this version of Windows 10 has also reached the end of service for Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions.

As such, try to update as soon as possible if you want to benefit from the latest features and bug fixes.
